Do you mean "consistent enough" to win the SB or "consistent enough" to go undefeated for the entire season, because some fans seem to have the two confused here.......

Those who are starting to look like they have "the right stuff" would be:

NFC:

Chicago - (6-0 does it for me, no matter how bad they looked on Monday)

Seahawks - (1-1 with their star player out, only loss to the hottest team in the NFL, 4-1 and STILL playing like sh*it, they have to rank right up there.)

Panthers - (4-0 since Smith came back, always slow starters but BIG finishers, hell, you even have to worry about these guys when they're 1-7 fer Christsakes!)

Possibles - Giants, Eagles, Saints, Cowboys

AFC:

Colts - (they have the talent and coaching to fill the holes, any team 5-0 with the both the weakness AND strengths which they have, commands respect)

Denver - (Great team, great coach, maybe they CAN win without a great QB - TB and the Ravens did....)

New England - (Shouldn't belong here this season really, but with Belichick and Brady, who knows, ANYTHING is possible.......)

Possibles - Ravens, Cincy, Jags, Chargers, Steelers

Still picking the Seahawks over the Colts for the SB, 37 - 26

After last week, I'd say even more unequivocally, Da Bears! They turned the ball over 6 times, didn't score an offensive touchdown, and still won the game. Every team will have bad days on either side of the ball. A truly good team will overcome one side of the team not playing their best by the other side stepping up and making the plays they have to to win. That said, last year I predicted N'awlins would go to the big game. I think I was one year early. There would be no sweeter ending to the season after coming back from Katrina. Think about '01 and the Patriots. The script is just too perfect, and teams just can't seem to put the Saints away, especially at the Superdome.

Every "good" team has struggled against "bad" teams.

Colts v. Titans, Bears v. Arizona, Patriots v. Bills, etc.

None of them has been really consistant for me to pick. I am a Bears fan, so I am picking Chicago, but without Mike Brown and Grossman playing very unpredictable, it is hard to say.

I also pick Chargers because they have played solid games all year, even at the loss to Baltimore.

I think the Colts will finally not choke and win it this year ... I think it was sad last year they didnt do it and i think the team lost focus when Dungees unfortunate incident with his sone occurred .

I think the Bears have done remarkably well so far but i think it wont be for another season before they become a real force

The Bears, as bad as they looked in Arizona, still overcame that performance on the road and you have to be impressed with that.
You have to like them right now.
