I know that the 1985 Chicago Bears (the grammy nominated "shufflin'" crew) vehemently claimed in several different ways that they had not come "looking for trouble" but instead had just come "to do the Super Bowl Shuffle." Is it possible they were simply using the "shuffle" as a front and actually HAD come looking for trouble??

I've looked through several history books but can't find any information on an inquiry into this by the U.S. government at the time. ANY help in this matter would be appreciated as I might like to use this topic for my doctoral dissertation.

I just created a forum for people to talk about their sports bets. Right now we are having a contest drawing for a prize. To be entered all you have to do is have at least 10 productive posts and every post there after you get 1 entry. If you refer someone you get 2 entries. Here is where my question comes in. I dont know what kind of prize to offer. Can anyone help me decide what kind of prize i should give to the winner? Cash? Gift card? A particluar prize?

Last weekend 9/16/06 during the Illinois-Syracuse football game Illinois head coach punched one of his own players with a viscious elbow to the kids chest. I saw video of the incident broadcast one time on TV, so I know that it exists.

Let's say you're a liberal Democrat. What if your favorite NFL player came out and publicly said he wishes George W. Bush could run for re-election again?

Or let's say you're a staunch Republican. And one day you see your favorite NFL player on TV praising Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy!

Would you be able to set aside your political differences and still be able to root for that player? He is your favorite afterall!
