Since Marino?? I'll go with the stats. Brett Favre followed by Manning. Favre is more exciting to watch and has won a Super Bowl. Manning is getting there. Favre has never missed a game since he started in '92. Manning has the better front line that usually protects. If you want more stat info, go to NFL.com

He was very good in the Dolphins system and at the time that he played. It is hard to argue with his stats. Brett Favre is close to breaking many of his records. The only knock on Marino is his lack of Super Bowl hardware. I don't think you measure a quarterback by his trophies. Marino was a great entertainer who brought much happiness to Florida. I would take Marino over Peyton Manning for many reasons, but would take Favre ahead of both of them. Favre really only had one good team in all the years he has played.

I'm sorry but Marino was one dimensional. Peyton Manning is an excellent QB..but again one dimensional...Michael Vick is a double threat. Run and pass. He brings an extra element to the game. If he has better receivers or the Dolphins even...He probably could have brought home a ring to Miami. But Favre, should have retired this past year. Not looking too good this year guys. There have been alot of great QB's including Terry Bradshaw, Joe Theismann, Warren Moon, and Joe Namath

Marino had the strongest throwing arm I've ever seen. For this era, only Peyton Manning compares to Marinio. Different styles, however. Marino would drill the ball through the defense while Manning is more patient in the pocket.

Peyton Manning is this generations Dan Marino. He will never win and I bet his brother wins first.

Of course Dan was the best ever-- put him on the niners of the 80's and they would have won 10 rings-- the only one in his catagory is Payton Manning--- they both are the same type of quarterback but Payton has more responibilty on the feild because of all the play calling-- it takes a team to win a ring-- the best players don't always get one-- look @ Barry Sanders

Montana's better. Every game between 49er's and Dolphins I ever saw 49er's blew out the dophins.
