I know that the 1985 Chicago Bears (the grammy nominated "shufflin'" crew) vehemently claimed in several different ways that they had not come "looking for trouble" but instead had just come "to do the Super Bowl Shuffle." Is it possible they were simply using the "shuffle" as a front and actually HAD come looking for trouble??

I've looked through several history books but can't find any information on an inquiry into this by the U.S. government at the time. ANY help in this matter would be appreciated as I might like to use this topic for my doctoral dissertation.

They weren't greedy either, they just wanted to feed the needy.

The Bears looked for trouble on the field and found it.
They terrified their opponents, literally.

Otis Wilson would cream somebody and wouldn't let the guy up right away. He'd stick his fingers inside their facemasks and yell at them. I guess that would be taunting now.

The US government was going to deploy the Bears in Cuba to take out Castro, but they thought that would be akin to torture and scrapped the plans!

The way you hear it is the way it is. The bears didn't need to look for trouble or be worried. They were the best team that year. Take it for face value.
