Because TO is a moron, a loudmouth, and a ball hog. Hines Ward is a better team player, that is someone who's play makes his teammates play better also. TO can go fly a kite with Dennis Rodman, who was just like him.

I'd much rather have Hines Ward. This man catches everything remotely close to him and holds on when hit as well as anyone I can every recall. If he played for a team that passed more, who knows what kind of stats he would have. Ward comes to work and does his job (very well). T.O. has caused problems everywhere he has been and is without question a talented athlete, but do you think that SF or Philly management would say having T.O. was a good experience for them?

OK let's compare. Hines Ward A ring and Superbowl MVP. Chad Johnson, and T.O. haven't even MADE it to the Superbowl let alone got a ring. So which one has what counts? Hines Ward is the considered to be the most underrated reciever in the league and is a great blocking W.R. Chad Johnson and T.O. both seem to be out for themselves. Won't take from their ability but neither seem to be out for the team. Hines Ward holds his Franchise's record for the most receptions. I don't see where T.O. or Chad Johnson could make that comment.

Really? Remember that Ward was not a receiver in college; he was a QB at Georgia.

Ward is in his ninth season on a team not known for throwing a ball a lot, and still has 581 catches for 7112 yds with 53 TDs. Owens is in his 11th year with 725 catches for 10634 yds and 102 TDs on teams where he was the #1 receiver and had extensive pass offenses.

Besides, Ward may be the best blocking WR in the league, and he's also known for shutting his mouth and getting his job done and not complaining about whether the ball's getting thrown to him or not.

Give me Hines Ward and Marvin Harrison as my receivers and I'd light any other team up week after week.

Hines Ward is good but he wouldn't make a pimple on T.O's rear end.

Ummm... probably because they're both wide receivers in the NFL. But if we're going to compare them, lets look at the facts, not just the stats. T.O.- arrogant, obnoxious, selfish, cry baby who turns on his team. Ward- talented team player who lifts his team and motivates them.

Hines Ward couldn't hold the jock-strap for 20 receivers in the NFL....he's no where in the same league as T.O., Chad Johnson etc...don't ever put his name near greatness

It's fans like you that drag this great sport down. Go ahead back a jagoff like TO. Real character comes from giving rather than crying "Me first". Ward outclasses most of the league. T.O. will NEVER hold a candle to truely great players like Ward.
No go back to watching your wrestling...
