Fantasy Sports - October 2007

Someone in my league just dropped Vince Young. Should I drop Brian Griese so that I can pick up Young? Young hasn't been great, and Griese has been good, fantasy-wise, in his first few starts.

With L. Maroney - RB (NE) being out for the past few weeks and slow production prior, would he be a good buy low candidate?

With Morris out for around a month and with his talent, I'm thinking that he will rebound in a big way over the last half of the season and this could be prime time to get him as owners have lost faith in him by now. What do you think? Thanks!

should i take this trade? we only start 1 QB and 1 TE, so i don't need 3 of each. i definitely need WRs. i wanted to trade 1 of my TEs and 1 of my QBs for johnson and maybe others. then, i would trade 1 other TE and 1 other QB for another WR. my backup QB would be david garrard or jason campbell. so what trade should i do? does this work for me? i think it does because i get a great WR and i only need 1 QB and 1 TE.

I am in a Hockey league (the type of league does not matter in this issue). The Commissioner is taking away a player I picked up off the free agent market to restore him to his original team because he was guys 4th round pick and the guy picked up a backup goalie in his place. The guy cleared waivers (three day period in which I felt the Commissioner should have tried to stop his transaction during) then sat on the open market for three days before I picked him up. I am objecting the other is not crying foul about losing his good player but the Commish says that he has to keep it fair by restoring the player.

I have L.T, but he has a bye week. The other RB's I have are Clinton Portis, Maurice Jones Drew, Warrick Dunn and Ron Dayne. Since LT is off what can I do. BTW my league is 3 RB starters. And another question is who should I start at QB. Jeff Garcia vs. Lions Defense, or Eli Manning vs. 49ers defense. Thanks guys!

My team is 6:0 but the last 3 weeks have been completely lucky. Week 4 I won because my opponent had Smith starting at QB (I won by 2). Week 5 I won because my opponent had Addai starting (I won by 2). Week 6 I won because my opponent had Welker benched in favor of Vincent Jackson ( I won by 2 again). Take a look. This is insane...

I was wanting to get some opinions on what Kevin Durant's statline will look like from a fantasy standpoint.

My current projection has him looking like this:

22.0 pts
4.5 boards (since he's playing mostly SG)
2.5 assists (I'm assuming not much passing)
1.0 steals (he's athletic enough that he should get at least 1.0)
2.0 three's per game (he has good range on his shot)
0.7 blocks per game
42-43 FG% (he's a rookie and will be asked to shoot a lot)
77-78 FT% (I'm thinking he will get to the line 6-7 times a game)



So, to me, I'm projecting him to be sort of a poorer shooting version of Michael Redd for this year and I'm thinking he should be drafted between 40-45 (5th round) in a non-keeper. What do you guys think? What are your projections for him for this season?
