Someone in my league just dropped Vince Young. Should I drop Brian Griese so that I can pick up Young? Young hasn't been great, and Griese has been good, fantasy-wise, in his first few starts.

(My other QB is David Garrard, who I like.)

Despite the fact that Griese didn't play early in the season, he's already outscored Young in Yahoo fantasy scoring by 7 points. Even Pennington has more points than Young. Basically, you're buying into Young's press. His actual NFL value is much more than his fantasy value still. I'd keep Griese over Young.

No.

Vince Young is a good QB, but he doesn't have a lot of fantasy value. He helps find ways to win, but he's never going to have a huge game passing. Now, he does have the potential of getting some big rushing yards, but this is not reliable.

David Garrard is a must-start and Griese is a decent backup.

No. There is a reason why someone dropped Young. He doesn't put him very good fantasy numbers, and on top of that he is injured now.
Would you ever start him over Garrard anyway? Why pick someone up if you will never start them? I think Griese is a solid backup too.

Griese isn't a great choice but Young hasn't been that great either. Both would be backups in a pinch so really it is a coin flip.

Ok > came up heads...so take Young.

i could drop youthful and %. up somebody else, yet no longer Flacco. Yeah, those defenses are noticeably undesirable, yet BAL's a run first offense and that i see a great style of protection and dashing. o.ok.having perhaps the perfect hide corner would not help flacco that week the two. there is have been given to be somebody on the waiver twine you could %. up as a replace. in case you sense you prefer a QB (which i do no longer think of you do) how approximately JT O'Sullivan? a 49er WR could be a magnificent %. up too.

I'd keep Garrad before I'd pick up Vince Young. Young may not even play this weekend and he's not much of a fantasy option when he's not injured.

Young and Garrard are both good for rush yardage but will never throw for 300 yards.

If you can pick up Young and then trade him, do it. I don't think he's all that.
