I'd have to say ... do it .... since you have Ben Watson who is or at leats top 3 fantasy TE I think so losing gates won't hurt that much and Cooley isn't that bad either. You do need those RB's even though those two guys aren't stellar but may be a bit better than Derrick Ward specially with Jacobs coming back. Also it looks like Kurt Warner and Matt Leinart are out for the season so Larry Fitz isn't going to be that productive with Tim Ratty at QB so this will be a great deal for you.

Fitzgerald is a question mark each week with all the Arizona QB injuries, though he is the best receiver for whoever is behind center and Gates is one of the best receivers in the league.
Cooley is a solid performer, but not a featured receiver in the Redskins scheme, while Jordan and Johnson have been banged up this year....Johnson more so for a Bengals team that is going nowhere.
I would not make the deal.

I think that you do. Gates is great, but he isn't much better than the four TEs right beneath him (which Cooley is one). This trade gives you some RB depth (albeit currently injured depth) which is always important in the second half of the season. With Galloway, Owens, Curtis, and Mason, I think that you can afford to let Fitz go while upgrading a questionable RB corps. Do it.

I wouldnt do it. You already have the best Te (gates) no need for Cooley , Lamont Jordan not any better than the RB's you already have, that leaves the only benefit being Rudy Johnson and I dont think hes worth it. Bottom line...I wouldnt give up gates

No, no and no way man,
1.]Larry and Gates are studs every year
2.]L.Jordan will start to split the carries with Rhodes so his numbers will go down
3.} Cooley had a great game but i dont see him having to many of those with Washington starting to used him more as a run/pass blocker. His number will be decent but nothing compared to Gates who is having a great season
4.] Rudi is a great rb but he is coming off a Inj. and the bengles are having all kinds of problems

Do it. LaMont Jordan and Rudi Johnson are both good. Jordan is really producing this year too. Ben Watson is good too. Your TEs really won't be affected. I would do it.

Going via final year's stats, Lewis gained below one hundred yards greater advantageous than Brown, with 6 fewer TD's. I anticipate Brown gets greater receptions/receiving yards than Lewis as nicely. i could take Ronnie Brown.
