Fantasy Sports - January 2007

Like, say I wanted to start a fantasy baseball league (so I would have to have an offline draft if I'm doing it through Yahoo.) But what if everyone in my league lives in different states? Have any of you done this before? If so, how did you do the draft? (like, through the yahoo group page, or through e-mail, or what?)

I've heard that you need to start a Yahoo group, but I don't see how that pertains to the keeper league at all. I've heard that you do an offline draft, which makes sense, but the following year, do you have to "re-draft" everyone's keepers back onto their team, and then carry on with the offline draft as usual, or is there some way to save all of the data? Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

What website is good for Fantasy Keeper Leagues? I want to use minor league palyers too but Yahoo doesn't have them on the free one and idk if they do on the money league. Any advice there? Also I am doing it roto style. 5x5 seems too simple, any extra categories that I could do to make it more interesting? I'm also doing 11 pitchers, 2 catchers, 1 of each IF position, CI and MI, then 5 OF. I don't know how big a bench. Should I make a big one so people can fill with minor leaguers? Any advice would be welcome. I've run leagues in the past never roto keepers though.

I tried to go to my roster last night (10:00PM eastern time) 1-24-07 and tried to pick my players for the yahoo fantasy golf and it wouldn't let me in to pick my players. What is the rule and deadline on this. I saw something last week about the deadline is 2:00 am eastern time. Please let me know so I will be aware next week.......mark smith

I know this sounds silly but I am desperately trying to figure out how to use my waiver option. I can't figure it out!!!

Tomorrow the guy I wants comes off waivers. I want to put in a waiver order before that happens but dont know how!! Every time I click "add" the guy it gives me an error message that I cant do it until he clears waivers.

I am #4 on waivers. If someone else with #5, #6 etc. successfully uses their waivers on him and I cant figure out how to... I'll go crazy. HELP!!!!

how do you think he'll do when he comes back?
he "hopes" to come back this Friday against the bobcats.
The lakers are doing pretty well. how much will Odom contribute and what would it mean in fantasy value?
