Both are in for a decrease in playing time, fantasy value. Al Harrington will steal Barnes' minutes, David West will cut into Butler's. Barnes would definitely help in the 3 Point department, though. All things being equal, I think I'd take Barnes on this deal.

These two are basically a wash. They have almost identical stats, (Barnes actually has 4 more 3's on the season), and they both play for mediocre teams. Both are the same age as well. I think if you need more three's you would either want to trade for somebody else, or trade someone other than Butler for Barnes.

Keep Butler, I'd say. He's got better long term prospects. Matt's place in the line-up is in question, and his future may hinge on whether the Warriors trade him some place, like Detroit. Rasual may stay in the lineup even after CPaul gets back.
