how will he be remembered? for me he is a person that gave everything to cricket and helped everyone including the minnow countries and had an enormous passion for the game...and the man responsible for bringing south africa to a level where they went toe to toe with australia for cricketing supremecy ...the man that developed kallis...rhodes...pollock...donald...gibbs ...cullinan....cronje...and sooo many others...and even bonded a pakistan team after they were divided...what a coach...what a person...and always will be a legend of the cricket world....perhaps the greatest coach who brought innovations and alot of creativity....and shared his knowledge to youngsters and helped develop cricket...when i heard the news i was just stunned in utter disbelief...and i think this was foul play....how can u vomit all over the walls and have blood all over ur body and say its a heart attack or related to stress...this was a hitjob..i think he was beaten or poisoned...

In India this is the time of 10th and 12th std final exams. Parents were worried if their kids will loose concentration or spend time watching cricket. Is indias defeat has made them celebrate.

I was in a shock, on hearing about his death... Alas the cricket world lost valuable personality...
What do think.... what was the main cause of his death.... was it the mean comments of Pak Cricket Board, stress that he failed to perform, or any thing else...
i take this oppurtunity to say..... that games are meant to play... there is always a winner and a loser... but that doesn;t mean that a deaft is taken to heart

The general public and the media should not put the cricket teams under excessive pressure... that eventually spoil their performance and some times prove fatal...

I know that you guys are passionate about cricket but if you are true fans don't you think that you should support your team no matter what. Why do you keep criticizing your own, everytime they have a bad day/game?

Don't you think that you put too much pressure on the players and may be contributing to their demise? Players who represent your countries must have an element of fear....fear that if they fail they will be treated badly and as a result will underperform. It is just too much pressure!!! e.g. look at what happened to wicket keeper Dhoni....his home was destroyed in the aftermath of India's defeat at the hands of Bangladesh. Do you think those actions will help make the team better?....I don't think so.

I am a West Indian and I just do not understand your behaviour. We are passionate about cricket ourselves here in the Caribbean but we 'rally' around our team when they are down and out!

Please share your thoughts....

Bob Woolmer Pakistan's coach was found unconscious and eventually died in the hospital after the shock ousting of Pakistan from World Cup..
Was it the pressure, age, sickness or other reasons behind his mysterious death???

yes if bermuda wins the toss and bats and gets all out for like say 100 and then india quickly gets the runs....if that happens the net run rate of india will only increase a lil bit....but if india bats 1st and scores like 350 then bowl bermuda out for 100 or less then the net run rate will increase alot....so even if india wins against sri lanka and bermuda they still need a super net run rate....so all u indian fans just hope india bats first and scores like 350 and get bermuda out for 100....otherwise india will follow pakistan out of the cup...so india need to absolute destroy bermuda to even have a remote chance of going to the super 8's.....

- there were honey bees on the filed thats why indians were running around when the balls were flying over the ropes..
- dravid sh**ed in his pants and stunk, other players didnt want to go to listen to him..
- ball was not tennis ball it was leather and they never heard of it
- boundry ropes were very far for india and they (FBI) drag the ropes 50 yards inwards when banglas played
- there was no hair stylist on ground to keep dhonis hairs away from his eyes when ever ball came to him (batting or keeping)
- this was a long overs match (300 balls) they got only 11*2 = 22 balls in all of them in pairs.
what u want to add please go ahead--

This result was predicted by a lot of experts including the Bangladeshi captain. It's not like India collapsed or anything, they had 6 wickets in hand in the 40th over. Truth is that India tried their best and was not able to match the Tigers on this given day. They got outclassed in every section of the game. C'mon now "Neighbours", don't be shy to show respect where it's due! I'm Bangladeshi as u may have figured out by now and I'm not here to tease or start a war of words. But the Indian media (except for Calcutta) is acting like India just had one bad day, where the truth is we are ready to compete with any team on a day to day basis, India included!

there are rumours spreading that shoaib akhtar used a hitman to poison bob woolmer using his food and drinks.....if this is true shoaib should be killed....what a total loser....a hitman did this to bob woolmer.....shoaib was involved....and dont even try to defend akhtar....this guy is nothing but trouble....chucking...drug taking...fighting...assulting the coach...i think akhtar did it through a hitman....foul play was involved....too much of a coincidence to be an accident....chuckthar is a loser who killed a great human being!!! and i know u ppl dont like to believe it but lets face facts....bob woolmer was the one who insisted on the PCB taking internal drug tests before the champions trophy which akhtar got caught....then woolmer dropped the chucker...akhtar has a massive grudge....akhtar is an animal... no foreign coach should ever coach pakistan...cause they are too religious and full of extremists!!!!
