See what all the praying has done. India were optimistic & were beleiving in supperstition. Praying will not do anything. India is a strong team they need to play to their potential as a team. They can build their confidence again by defeating bermuda with a big margin. But I don't think India can beat Strong Sri Lankans though. But still they have a chance to go in to best 8. The most important thing is getting in to supper 8.

Team India needs all the Mullahs, Fakirs, Priests, Sadhus and every religious person available to pray for them.
The way they are going you can be sure the team members themselves must be trying every trick in the book to bribe the gods into letting them continue in the world cup. If they lose they will lose all their great endorsements and the crores of Rupees they have been taking for granted for so far.
The likes of Coca Cola and ICICI bank too will lose by way of all the business they were hoping to do, riding on the Indian teams success. So all the young MBA's there, that swoop down on you to sell Insurance products, mutual funds and credit cards, too should be praying like mad. Remember this helps them sell these products.
As for the common man in the villages, his land will continue to be taken over by SEZ's, Wind energy companies, Construction companies, land sharks etc. So you can be sure they will be praying for other more real priorities.
In the mean time you too can continue to pray for team India. Its obvious you have little else to look forward to. And yes, If nothing else it will make someone, somewhere very rich.

I am a Bangladeshi (currently living in NY) and I understand your situation. I know it is a very big upset that Bangladesh beat India but we must understand that cricket is a game of uncertainty. It is true that Bangladesh is a newer and weaker team than India but that doesn't necessarily mean that Bangladesh has to lose every time. Time has changed. Bangladesh has improved a lot in the last 10 years, after tons of defeats. Someone above expected that Srilanka has to defeat Bangladesh with big difference. I am saying, it isn't that easy. Bangladesh will definitely beat Bermuda and will build strong competition against Sri Lanka. Bangladesh also beat New Zealand in the World Cup practice match. So don't keep your fingers cross, rather wait and see, and pray, and Sri Lanka is not going to let India go so easily.
For Bangladesh, if Bangladesh wins against Bermuda, they will be in the next round. So it's up to India and Sri Lanka, who wants to join the next round.

Ok so already some bangladeshis are on top of world for just one victory and indians have started biting dust and rolling over in despair ! Well frankly this had to happen . Did nobody notice that lately Indians players never did well in good bowling tracks outside india ?
In fact give a decent bowling attack and these so called great batsmen seem as if they have fallen in the deepest hole of helplessness and misery ! I allways noticed that they played like tigers in good batting tracks but when faced with quality pace bowling they start behaving like a group of scared kids playing gully cricket !
With all these flaws if the players even lose their passion to play and behave like escapists playing irresponsibly like what happened recently the result is obvious.
Full credits for bangladesh for bringing out such a performance lets hope they keep the momentum going and make cricket more exciting for us to watch

We can Pray for India but not for the cricket team because it is purely sports. If one person is winning, one has to be defeated. It is not the War between all the nations. It is sports, which joins all the nations together without any difference.

i m praying for india
and india will play well against bermuda and srilanka
i m sure india will go into the super 8
and dont forget to pray that bangla desh lose to sri lanka with a big difference so that their run rate goes down
and also with bermuda.
in the end it will come on runrate if india won 2 matches
srilanka will be also at the same points and bangladesh will defeat bermuda and will have same points
and then it will depend upon run rate

Hay! I am indian and i pray for them , i like if they win WC. But it just a game so be a real game lover . So love the game and watch all game , learn something from another teams.
