is de la hoya serious mayweather is going to put de la hoya into retirement for good... de la hoya doesn't need the money he should go out on top from the win with mayorga... plus it is desrespectful to his trainer mayweahter Sr... he will not train him... it's the average "if he was in his prime it would be different" kind of fight.

It's got all the entertainment value yet no one watches it.

At the Taylor vs Ouma fight, the WBC introduced an open scoring system which informs the fighters at the 4th and 8th rounds of the Judges actual score cards. Do you think that this is a good thing for boxing? Personally I have mixed feelings. On one side, i fighter down on the cards may change his style and certainly put more effort, hopefully creating a better, more entertaining fight. On the flip side, a fighter may just run for the last 3 rounds if he's far enough ahead the cards, still being confident in the victory.

Had Winky Wright the benefit of open scoring, he'd be the middle weight champion today.

What's your opinion?

I like Winky Wright, but i think he was stupid not to take an immediate rematch against Jermain Taylor when he had the chance. I know he feels he got a raw deal with the draw in the first fight, but instead of bolting from the ring after the fight and acting like a 5th grader, why not try to right what he felt was wrong by fighting Taylor again and this time go out and leave no doubt who is the better man. I like to hear some views on this. The first fight was very close and not the highway robbery that Wright made it out to be. And the 12th round was up for grabs and Wright should have went out and fought and proved to the judges that he wanted it instead of clowning and not doing anything. I actually had Wright winning the fight by 1 point after 11 rounds but he gave away the 12th and if he goes out and takes it then the fight is probably his. He turned down 5 mil for the rematch and a chance to prove to people that he is better. Not a smart move to me! What's your opinion?

Coming off his lopsided decision win over Kassim Ouma, should he fight Winky Wright next or move up to 168 and fight Joe Calzaghe next? Which fight would you rather see?

I want to buy a pair; This is my first time actually getting into boxing. I'm 6 foot, 180 pounds. Do I get 20 ounce? 18 ounce? 16 ounce?

And, if possible...do you know any good websites for cheap, quality gloves? Thanks!

Will the support of Sly make any difference for the youth of metro Detroit or do you think he's wasting his time with any effort to save Kronk Boxing. I mean lets be for real here! So many people have jumped ship and so many business' have thrown in the towel in that city...What makes Sly think he can really make it all better....

I, for one, hope he can and when the time comes, I'll become a volunteer on some level.
