Who's the best NBA coach ever?
I personally feel Jackson gets a little too much credit as a coach yeah he's good but I think Riley is better. Jackson just has had Jordan and Pippen, and Shaq, and Kobe. Riley on the other hand has done a lot with teams that weren't stocked. Jordan probably would have won 6 rings with any good coach.
I also think Jackson has done a terrible job working out his team's chemistry problems by writing a book to capitalize on Kobe then turn around and coach him and now he's bashing Shaq too. It's like he thinks he's God because he coached Jordan. Not only that but why won't he let Kobe win the scoring race this year he always let Jordan. I don't like Jackson or how he coaches the Lakers and their winning record doesn't really impress me because they have the best player in the NBA, Odom, and the #1 Draft Pick. In fact I feel Riley could have done more with this team in the past 2 years. They should have been 50+ last season and 55-60+ this season.

alrite im in 8th grade and i am a starter for the varsity basketball team. i play with the high school gurls and i am alot younger. so when i play basketball with ppl my age, i can drive, dish off all these good passes. but when i play with the varsity team i cant do any of that becuase i get scared and kinda nervous...got any tips?....

She's black, but attends a mostly white school. I sent her there for educational purposes, luckily, b/c the black high school's bball team needs lots of work, including attitude adjustments. This season, she led JV in score and boards. I hate to have to pull out the race card in the 2000's, but I almost felt like they were using her. They tried to make sure she never scored 20 pts, but once she got a steal and scored b4 the sub could come in, so she had 21(lol). She didn't "start" until halfway thru the season, but when the city championship game went into double ot, she didn't get a rest. If she came off the bench and had a good 1st quar, she might not see the floor until a starter caught up with her pts. I hope I don't sound petty, but we know prejudices still exist. She'll be a junior next season, should she play JV or Varsity? They might make her ride the bench on Varsity(only lost 4 seniors), but that's where she needs to be. Or should I just see how they play her on JV?

Not only is he considered the greatest basketball player of all-time but one of the greatest athletes, so why is he not in there when other 'lesser' players are? Also i've noticed other questionable exclusions such as his team-mate Scottie Pippen, who without whom, I doubt Jordan would have won so many championships!

Michael has been renowned as the best basketball player of all time. But would he have those six rings if he were in the nba today. Think about it, the competition now is much different than a decade or more ago. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but would he still be as successful with his team in the league now. Could he be able to contend and beat some of the best teams including the Suns, Mavs, Heat (last year version), Spurs, etc. Could he compete with Shaq, Lebron, Kobe, D-Wade, Melo, A.I., Duncan, K.G., etc. I don't think he'd be considered the best nba player if he played today. Just too much competition. Anybody agree. I'd say he'd still be good, but have maybe three rings rather than six.
