I say no. And here's why:

1. They have no post scoring what so ever.

This is why they've made in early exit in the last two years in the playoffs. The Bulls heavily rely on three point shooting. And since that don't have the large arsenal like Phoenix does they wouldn't be able to consistently compete.

2. Free throwing shooting.

Since Michael Jordan left Chicago in 1998, the Bulls have been in the bottom half of the league in the free throw shooting category. What happens when it comes down to crunch time when their best free throw shooter Kirk Hinrich only shoots 81% which is very low for any guard in the league.

3. Perimeter defense.

Like in the last two years, the Bulls have been carved by the East's top guards Dwayne Wade and Gilbert Arenas. Combined the two shot a whopping 51% and averaged 29.8 points in thirteen games. I know that's why they accquired Ben Wallace, but even still they wouldn't be able consistenetly guard the three ball.

4. The Western Conference Champ

Whoever it may be: possibly Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, or both Los Angeles teams.

All except for the last two have deep bench scoring. Chicago would not be able to compete in a seven game series.

They did well in the playoffs last year. Look for them to do just as good or a little better. You never know. They have just as good of a chance to go for the east as anybody.

If they can get their sh!t together, yeah! Its possible. They just haven't found a productive lineup. From what I've seen from them, they keep on experimenting to much with the line ups.
