Yea, Idk when they come up but the years thing everyone else says is right, and I think they will both make it in soon.
and I agree that your right, the greatest player in the world cant win by himself, so Jordan wouldnt have been great without scottie.
Look at Garnett, Lebron, Allen Iverson, Kobe(now) all of these guys are amazing players but have proven that you cant win them by yourself.
However....look at the winners
Spurs-great team effort
Pistons-great team effort
Lakers-Shaq & Kobe
and even the best teams today
Suns-unquestionably the deepest team in the NBA
Mavs-great starting five
I think you understand my point, I may have overkilled it but I feel scottie doesnt get enough respect, because he was overshadowed by the unquestionably best player of all time

Alot of you people that tried to answer this question are just dumb, Jordan retired in April of 2003, so the Hall of Fame rules are that a player cannot be inducted until after 5 full seasons of their retirement, so Jordan will be eligible for next years Hall of Fame.

Michael Jordan is not in the hall of fame because a player needs to have 5 five years after retirement mj retired in 2003 so he needs i think 1 year. And i agree with u about being the best player ever and about scottie pipen.

Seriously, everyone in the world knows michael jordan will be entered into the b-ball hall of fame. He was duly noted one of the 50 greatest b-ball players of all time. His stats and rings speak for themselves. The question should be when will he be entered, we all know he will be there its just a matter of when

I agree, there is a 5 year wait before they're allowed into the hall of fame. however they made an exception once for Wayne Gretzky.

Because of Jordan's many comebacks. The man needs to stay out of basketball and try to fix his relationship with his wife/ex-wife.

You have to be retired for so many years. He should be up in a few years.
