My daughter loves basketball and I am just how well she is doing. I played basketball but I didn't start this young and I just don't know how well she should be doing. I taught her how to dribble and that's all for now. I'm not trying to push her, but would like to know if she is about where she needs to be for her age. Her latest record is 140 times in a row right-handed and 30 (needs work, I know) times left-handed. She practices everyday and is just now starting to be able to move forward and dribble at the same time. Should I put her in organized sports at this age or would it ruin the fun for her by making it too competitive, too young?

well i think im in luv wit a gurl dat i havent seen i kno it sounds weird but i meet her on the internet one day just browsing around on blackplanet...and we both luv eachother..only tha thang is dat she lives in vancouver and i live in dallas tx. we used 2 talk on dah phone every day until parents found out bout it and turned our long distance off our phones cause it wuz costing tha bill! so we tried 2 see eachother many times i say bout...3 times but we neva finish tha job sum alwayz getz in tha way well we only friends now but i kno she still luvs me and ikno i luv her..we talk on the phone sumtimes but not like b4 itz kinda furstraiting a lil bit, so i wuz thinkin im gonna move down there 2 vancouver wit her she wants 2 see me 2..so im askin is...i mean is all this really worthit?? cause i kno luv works in strange wayz.. but should i go if thats were my heart is?? or is it just a waste of my time

i dont know which team is gonna be good but i think kobe is gonna be MVP and dont tell me that he is a ball hog ppl that say that make me wanna kick their damn asses becuz if like lebron or wade were on the same team that kobe has they would ball hog too so tell me what u think about the players and teams

I can't decide between Kobe and Lebron.Two great players.And plz don't say Kobe is a ball hog,he is not.If a I had to pick I would pick Lebron just because he is bigger than Kobe and can pretty much drive it whenever he wants.But then again the shooting advantage goes to Kobe...damn it!this is too hard.

Earl was famous for his street basketball abilities where he could double dunk (he would dunk it and catch it with the other hand while still in the air and dunk it again). He could also touch the top of the backboard to retrieve quarters and dollar bills. He was only 6'2" but the ankle weights he wore as a child helped him to build up tremendous jumping ability. He once reverse dunked 36 times in a row to win a $60 bet. It was rumored that Earl had a 52-inch vertical leap. But as to prove dunking wasn't the only thing he had going for him, he would practice hundreds of shots day after day, making him a deadly 3-point shooter as well.

Personally, I think they are equal performances because both had their advantages and disadvantages. Kobe has the 3-point line. But Wilt didn't have the 3-second violation back then and there weren't that much players 7 feet either. If I had to choose though, I would say Kobe's because the competition and the skill levels of the other players now are way over Wilt's time. But still, 100 points is a lot, A LOT!
