uhh no question Kobe is the best right now i mean its obvious i mean kobe can drive, dunk, get to the foul line, shoot the 3, defend, block i mean he can do it all ok and lebron he cant even make a damn 3 and by the way who ever said that no one ever came close to Michael Jordan ok first of KOBE IS CLOSE first reason 81 poitns i mean come on the lakers were down by 20 with the raptors and then kobe showed what kobe does and second reason as you could see in the years when michael jordan played there was no one to CHALLENGE HIM! he was always open there was people just running around and he was open he got open dunks go to youtube.com and search michael jordan you will see he was always open and now look at all those good players this years lebron, wade, t-mac i mean kobe has a lot more challenge and thats another good reason for kobe to be better than michael jordan or close to mike

yeah umm the guy who said lebron is a better defender than KB24 must hav missed the All-Defensive TEam awards
cuz lebron was no where 2 be found and KOBE was on the first team
and dont give me that "kobe is a ball hog, not a team player"
yeah cuz if lebron was playin with the same guys kobe was then he would b a ball hog 2
the Lakers hav NO supporting cast for poor Kobe
KOBE BRYANT is the best player in the league
lock down defender, beautiful shooter, excellent free throw shooter, can cut, slash, and is clutch.

The best player in the NBA is unquestionably Nikoloz "Skita" Tskitishvili. Kobe or Lebron, ha, you're hilarious. Those guys can't hold Skita's jock strap. Those dudes are bums. "Lebron...can pretty much drive it whenever..." "...the shooting advantage goes to Kobe..." Skita drives at will and has other worldly range on his jumper. Don't let me get started on his handles. Also, he's the best defender ever. They rob him every year by giving it to Ben Wallace. That's just racism. The NBA gives everything to black guys. The most racist league ever.

Nobody today even comes close to Michael Jordan. They may be able to score more, but fall far short in being the total package. In modern times the Bulls have been the greatest team. In previous times the Boston Celtics ruled. Bill Russell is in my mind the greatest center that has ever lived. Check out his stats. Incredible rebounding and shot blocking. No center comes close.
Lebron, as good as he is, has been ruined by coming to the pros straight from high school. He will never be the player he could have been if he had been developed at a Duke or Arizona or North Carolina, to name a few. Dwayne Wade is my favorite modern day player.

kobe! (81 points) not just cause of that but pretty much everyone loves lebron. and when he gets in an argument or something then everyone is on his side. it's easier to be good when you have that much support. on the other hand most people critisise kobe and get all mad at him for hardly doing anything. yet he still strives to get better. like against phoenix when he got in a fight with bell i think. EVERYONE bood him. but what did he do like the next game? (we should all know) that's even another good reason why kobe is better. he can still make the basket under pressure.

Well you have to just pick and see. They are two different ypes of players
LeBron is a more Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan mix. He gets everyone involves and can takeover games in different ways.
Kobe is a better on the ball defender and clutch scorer. He reminds me of Jordan more then Bron, because of his killer instinct. They both can lead a team and while it may seem like Kobe has an ego, I bet he and Bron on the same team can last
I would pick Kobe Bryant, for the fact that he can dominant when your down, remember when LA was down to Toronto and he brought them back on his way to hit 81 points.

If anything skill wise it appears to be the same but Kobe has more experience. Hes been there and knows how intense it is. Lebron still has a lot to learn.

Absolutely Kobe. Not only did he score 81 points this season, Lead league in points average, being an 8-time all star, AND totally demoralize STEVE NASH.
Plus, check the rings.
