No this wasn't meant to be an insult or a troll magnet. I'm really curious here. If you ask any American what the first thing that pops in their head is when you say the word "patriotism", I guarantee it will be something violent.

I have been to India many times and will keep going there, but it saddens me that when I give a gift to them, which comes from my heart, which I believe that is something pretty or something that they will really like and it has cost me as much as I can afford, their only comment to me is "is it real gold and what is the value" When I say that perhaps no it is not real gold etc they just give a small smile and say oh well, nice and they do not use what I have bought. I am doing Christmas presents up to send out to them, but before I had a chance, I had an email from one saying where are my gifts I need them for Christmas. This person took it as their right to have a gift sent to them. What I would like to ask people on here from the Indian community, is please can you explain what many are like this towards me when all I have done is to give them gifts when they have never received any before and show love to the people in the poorer areas, people that believed they had been forgotten.

I am convinced they would add any undectable poison or carcinagic into the food supply that would have any positive influence on the bottomline or earnings per share. that is why food inspectors and "controls" exist at all. i am convinced giant corporate food companies can never be simply trusted. one hundred years ago they did not have huge chemical labs to creative more and more "supplements" to boost the bottomline and, earnings per share. manage must grow that bottomline or perish. let the consumer beware is their guiding compass. they lipservice is just that. bs.

With talk of climate change and global warming, we have started to think about the future of our species.

Our greedy and destructive natures are undeniable. We have altered the landscape of earth more than any other animal on earth at this time. We use up more fuel than any other species in terms of physical size and we show little, if not no respect to other animals even though they are our major food source. We think we are better than them because we can kill them but really we depend on them to survive. They are effectively the same as our mothers. They give us life. But we take more than is needed.

Do you think that planet earth would flourish if it was not for humans or do you think that we have made the world a better place for all animals to live? Or do you think that animals were primarily put here for us to use because humans are the superior animal and the planet was created soley for us to do with what we please?

a man hits a women, a man gets called a wife beater. a woman hits a man, the woman doesn't get called a husband beater.

they're always like "equal rights for women" but its quite blatantly not equal rights if they're allowed to hit men and men have to sit there and take it?

it just doesn't make sense?

yes the man may be stronger, but the woman may be stronger too though??

When I see/read about things that people do to each other , to children, babies etc...I am horrified beyond belief.
Is it EVIL that drives these monsters to it, or just that they have no conscience?
