My girlfriend and I were recently asked by security to leave a shopping centre because we were both barefooted.
As we were escorted out my girlfriend said she thought it was because the soles of our feet were dirty and this may have caused offence.

I often see the words "ethics and morality" used almost as synonyms. SAT-in-a-Box, by Kaplan, says "ethical" means conforming to accepted standards. It says the synonyms are: honorable, moral. This is ambiguous and can be exploited.

What do you think about the following novel distinction? Ethics regards a wide range of relationships; Morality regards one's own emotional/spiritual health; they are different, but very interdependent. Ethics is like the relationship of the planets to each other and the sun, whereas Morality is equivalent to each planet revolving on its own axis. A popular character education expert said, “Sometimes ‘ethical’ is used as a synonym for ‘moral,’ as in, ‘He is a very ethical (moral) person.’ For some people, ‘moral’ has religious connotations that "ethical" does not. The relevant field of psychology, however, has been called "moral development" ... no religious connotation there... “

if you think about it, considering how much the very wealthy have, and the very poor have, are there enough resources for everyone to live comfortably?

if there is, and i think there might be then how long until there isnt,

and if there isnt, then what are we doing?

i think a problem the world is facing and going to face that we dont really acknowledge or want to acknowledge is overpopulation and i dont think birth control is being stressed enough in schools and things like that, the more people that are around the tougher it is for everyone else, and the more suffering they have to experience later unless of course their born to a rich family. but that has its own problems, am i the only one who sees this?

Thank you for your answer! :)

Have a wonderful day/night! :)
