The Holy Bible. I'm not confused because there are other beliefs, I believe that the Bible is the truth. Scripture is true.

Hard call...both are creations of man, with all the flaws and omissions that implies.
The bible was created centuries after the events recorded in it had faded into history. And was subject to the politics of the era. Who knows what merely human agenda the editors were pushing at the time. (though an anti-women agenda is a sure bet).
Science is hardly better. Theories are touted as Laws, simply because nothing better has been found yet...often because noone is looking, and even when someone does, it could be decades or even centuries before his work is recognised...if it isn't discarded because it upsets some academians precarious house of cards or worse, risks his tenure...

The Bible and science are not polar opposites as we have been led to believe, that's oversimplification. The Bible can be used to represent religion whereas Science to represent Discovery and Analysis, but Science through archaelogy has often verified biblical history, and Biblical History has agreed with science. E.g. The egyptians did exist and have a pharoah as recorded in the old Testament. Dinosaurs are referred to in scripture.
Just because the Bible also covers a set of beliefs that cannot be proved or disproved e.g God, Angels, an Afterlife this doesn't mean that these beliefs are necessarily false, simply that they cannot be proved.....or disproved. Science is not qualified to answer every question that we humans have.

Science, if it's done right, is self-correcting. Someone proposes a hypothesis, does experiments, others replicate those experiments, papers get published in peer-reviewed journals, scientists debate the conclusions and point out mistakes made by other scientists, and bad theories are eventually replaced with better theories.
Real science has to flexible enough to consider new facts and new possible explanations. A scientist with rigid beliefs can't work effectively.

The Bible is the word of God, as written down by men. Science is a technique for proposing and testing hypotheses, for physical properties of the World, and only applies to those things that can be weighed and measured in the physical world.
Science is kind of limiting without the God perspective on it.

science, plain and simple. The bible has some historical accuracy, but it needs to be taken with all other accounts of the times as well.

The bible or science ? What about the Karan, the Tibetan scriptures, the Buddhist, etc. etc. and why do you have to choose. Why can't it be spirituality AND science.

The Bible first and foremost. Science has its place in the world but it cannot replace the history, wisdom and love in that sacred book.

Science has given us cures for diseases and taken us to the moon.
Religion has given us war and fascism.
I like how I got a thumbs down. There are people who love war and fascism and that's scary.
BTW don't bother trying to argue that religion hasn't brought us war and fascism. You can't close your eyes to history or reality forever. It will catch up with you.

It's a simple solution, read the Bible and look for evidence for it. Except for locations of cities, there is none.
Read several science books, look at the evidence....
