Janet Jackson gets scorned heavily and CBS gets sued for an accidental glimpse of her mammary area, but women can just whip out theirs in public and breastfeed their kids without hearing a word about it. There could be plenty of innocent children around to witness it, but she won't be punished. We can't have it both ways. Either we're going to be highly uptight about nudity and ban it in all places (make her go in the bathroom to do that), or we're going to be loose and allow it on television. Sure, anyone and everyone can see it on television, but it's the same way in public.

I was just in a gay bar on Habbo Hotel, and there was this extremely ignorant guy who was in there just to pick fights. I got into it with him, and to prove my point I brought up the fact that murder is fine as long as it's justified by your religion or by the government. During the Crusades, the Catholics went out and slaughtered loads of Muslims and Jews. The victims did nothing to hurt the Catholics, but they were murdered anyway. Christianity says that murder (for the right reasons) is right but homosexuality is wrong? B/S.

I got banned for 24 hours, for racism! Wtf? Never once did I use derogatory terms or racist remarks. I stated proven facts that even slipped past the censors to get into history books. This is completely unfair. That stupid site is so childish that two people can't even have an argument without the kiddy-purity police stepping in to stop it. This is ridiculous.

I am the person that dislikes people who don't accept others for who they are. I always accept everyone for who they are rather than physical appearances, disabilities, and you name it. I find it very easy for tolerance of others.

Don't tell me that there are some people who don't accept others because I already know.

My question is.....
Does a majority of population on this planet accept others for who they are?

Okay, I'm a black woman so this is not some racist ASKing the question. Did this start off as a regional thing with people from the south and then when many blacks moved to the north and all over the US they carried this pronunciation with them. I am just really curious because this pronunciation is pretty pervasive. I've noticed in other forums that blacks get pissed off when whites or others ASK them about this and look at the question coming from them as some kind of put down or ridicule. Truthfully for many of those ASKing the question it is a put down & racially motivated because they look for any reason to perpetuate the hate. For me, I would just like to know. My parents were adamant about how we pronounced words and would never have accepted or allowed us to say "AXE" when we meant "ASK." So, is it a matter of ignorance and under-education/under-exposure or is it a matter of people not caring? What is it and why is that pronunciation so difficult and such a sensitive issu
