I am the person that dislikes people who don't accept others for who they are. I always accept everyone for who they are rather than physical appearances, disabilities, and you name it. I find it very easy for tolerance of others.

Don't tell me that there are some people who don't accept others because I already know.

My question is.....
Does a majority of population on this planet accept others for who they are?

I say some do and some dont. Some people will accept you no matter what. Then some people will judge you by, your race, your gender, your looks the way you dress, etc. Me I treat everyone equally and with repsect. After all, we all bleed the same color and we all have to live on the same planet, we all have the same emotions. Its better to love one another then to walk around with so much hate in your heart.

I do. I totally agree with you. The only time I have a hard time with tolerance is when the person is really close to me (like a best friend or a family member) and they are acting stupid. Oh, and like you, I have a hard time tolerating people who hate people based on surface characteristics such as race, sexual orientation etc. That is why I get on here and mouth off.

There should be many more people like you; those that accept others for who they are. Maybe even there is... However, in answer to your second & more broad question: No, I don't think a majority of people on this planet *accept* others for who they are.

Tolerate, maybe. Be polite to, maybe. Accept... I don't think so.

Unfortunately, no. In my view just too many people are biased on appearances, dialects or nationalities.

Which, of course, doesn't give a clue about a persons true character. :(

So you accept people who don't like other people for who they are for who they are ?
You also dislike them. So you dislike and accept the same person. Do you think that it 's so important to accept people for who they are when you dislike them ? I "accept" you but "dislike" you for what you are ? Hmm.

That's mighty self-congratulatory of you, slim. Are you afraid someone wouldn't notice how PC your are?
NO. There certainly should not be more people like you.
