Howard Dean was reported as flying into a minor rage or
"sudden angry outburst" when his usual breakfast request
was bungled.

Apparently Dr. Dean must have every morning, without fail, one large bowel of Quaker Brand Instant Oatmeal "WITH" a tad of Maple Syrup in the exact center.

Personal Aids report he is absoutely fanatical about having that exact same thing, the exact same way, every morning or there "would be hell to pay".

The Aide interviewed requested to not be identified, but added "he has other quirks, like yodeling while defacating".

Why....? What say you?

Do any of these questions sound wierd to you?

I look at these things posted on the Mythology & Folklore catagory and think, what in the world is this crap? Do you really believe in these things or are you high? Seriously, someone exlpain to me, a conservative Christian, what this stuff means to you. Is it a religion? Is it an obsession like from Star Wars or Harry Potter? ( I know some of you live for them too) Some of it I understand but some of it looks like gibberish to me. I'm not willing to explore Satanism, Wicca, pagan beliefs or any cults because I've been there and my faith calls those things lies. Other than that, tell me what you're thinking.

Serious answers only please! I really wanna know!

I think my house is haunted?

if there is a spirit how cani get rid of it?..the house just has a lot of negative energy, the person who built it his wifedied, and then he got a girlfriend a while after and they went bankrupt and lost the house, thats how i got it, i was in a six year relationship and soonafter we moved in to the house we broke up. i rented the house out to a family and they had things happen in the year they were there, now i and my new boyfriend are moving back in and i'm scared....how do i get "the evil" or whatever it is out

Anyone believe in in ghosts ? I've got one in my home and....?

I truely think that my live - in girlfriend is a magnet for them. We both think that he is my recently passed friend ! He's not present ( like you can see him ) although, you can feel as if , someone is there and items in the house do get misplaced ( as if, he were moving things ) to get our attention and joking with us. It's perfectly harmless jestures although, it does get to be a little frustrating when the car keys go south or something thats always in the same place ~ gets moved elsewhere. I'm not looking to exorcise the house or go to any extreme although, how do we get him ( or her ) to appear ? We think it's kinda neat !

Looking for a recipe for sealing wax, can you help me?

I like making my own candles at home and would like to make my own sealing wax. I like the old ones where the wax had to be cracked to open the letter. But, I haven't been able to find how to make it. Maybe it was called something else. Any information would be a great help.

Tell me what you think about Greek mythology...?

Was this like a form of entertainment, these epics and tales about the greek gods a godesses? I've been searching online about greek mythology and it seems so unreal. Its like a soap opera.
What i would like to know from you is if you believe in this.
We're taught about it in highschool yet they don't really explain why or how the greeks and romans came up with this stuff.
Did they really believe there were gods or godesses of war, agriculture, music, medicine, etc.

I also wonder why these stories stopped, and when?. Did they lose belief or what?

This has nothing to do with todays beliefs or religions, or my opinions on religion. I'm just trying to focus on and try to understand this stuff.

Did David Copperfield really find the Fountain of Youth?

So, the media is reporting that David Copperfield bought some islands and apparently claims to have found the Fountain of Youth on one of them. Now, isn't this guy into illusion? So couldn't he realistically make it "appear" that insects and plants are coming back to life, etc.? Tell me what YOU think...
