Loki. Norse god.
Imagine being able to get away with half the stunts he did on a regular basis. Of course, on that note, its also why he is against the gods at the end of the world. Seems they don't like the underdog.

I would be Zeus, king of the Gods, free rein and all the power in the world. And you get one of the lovliest ladies, Hera, for a wife. Although I am also fond of Ares, god of war, Hades, the underworld, Athene and Aphrodite..Oh does Hercules count here?

Athena because she's a beast of a woman. I'd love to be like a goddess of war. I know, most stories depict her of the goddess of hunt and crafts, but there are some that add war as well.

Think of being the son of the ruler of the universe.
plus being the only being in creation that it able to carry the scared Hammer. and being lord of storms could be very cool also.!!!

probably the monkey king, the top dog of combat, mischeif, and strategy. he's got a lot of pride and a huge temper, and by that he commands respect from every immortal in Chinese mythology (except Buddha, who trapped him under a mountain as punishment for harrasing the heavens)

sleep, morpheus, the king of dreams... that is who i'd like to be.
the thought that there is someone out there who regulates dreams... who has systems in place to help you deal with your problems and teach you lessons in a realm where anything is possible and yet cannot hurt you unless you let it... it would be like being in charge of the twilight zone!
