We have recently lost my mom who was the center of our Christmas and are searching for some new ways to celebrate on Christmas Morning so that we can enjoy each other without all the sadness of our memories of how SHE would have done it.

Please tell me what your favorite things are so we can get some fresh ideas... Thanks!

Hello,

How much should I tip on Christmas day for the house cleaner? I am moving in on Christmas day and thought I should since they are coming in on that day. I didn't even realize when I scheduled that they work on that day, I just said next monday and it happened to be on the 25th. Only a little later did I realize that it was on Christmas.

How much do you think is good? Thanks.

I find that racist. I'd prefer my Santa to be chocolate, ganja smoking, pimp.

Oh, and no: "He's based on St. Nick" responses, please. Because they could just tell the kids he fell in Willy Wonka's chocolate river and he needs the cash, so he started a new pimpin' business or something.

Christmas needs to get with the times.

We're giving them an electric piano and I wanted a creative way to surprise them. There's five of them, so I thought of maybe putting one letter of P-I-A-N-O in a box for each of them to open - got any better ideas? Thanks!

I am spending Christmas with my girlfriend's extended family. She has informed me that it is a tradition in their house to have a naked custard fight at the end of dinner. I'm expected to join in. And no, it's not an exciting prospect. There is a twenty four year old man and all the others are over sixty.

Instead, they chose to celebrate your birthday on the day your worst enemy chose for you. Instead of giving you what you want they choose to give each other gifts because it makes them happy. How would you feel? Jesus was not born on December 25th and yes I can prove it. That day celebrates the winter soltice or a false god, the god of the Sun. Jesus asks only that we remember what he died for, so that we might live, but instead people chose to celebrate what he was born for and that was to die. If you are truley Christian, celebrate his death, he asked that we do that when he said at his last supper "keep doing this in remembrance of me". I love Jesus for all he's done for me, I will honor him in a way that pleases him and his father.
