Thanks guys! Great ideas, I'll definitely be using most of these. Oh, were low on funds because we paid for a cruise were going on in March, not to mention were budgeting on one income so I can stay at home and raise our son till pre-school - mutual decision. In reply to one of the answers, yes we have internet for entertainment, etc., and I'm starting a Work at Home job this January. :-)

I'd take my baby to the bookstore. They have a nice cafe where I sometimes get a latte and a brownie, and sit and read while my baby naps.

I always enjoyd going to a park that had a lake and haveing a picnic. Or put the baby in a stroller and go for a walk at the mall or downtown and window shop. People will stop and speake to you because of your baby and interacting with people is what you need and it cost nothing. Try hard to always see your children as a blessing and pleasure, not a burden.

DAY OFF!!! do you realy get those. with my hubby and kids i never get a day off. i am always cleaning, cooking, running errands, and anyting else that comes up. but if i had a day off i would go somewhere with an inside pool if it is cold outside and spend the day swimming, plus most places like that tend to have like a 2 hour time periond that you can take the baby so you have some time to your self. good luck on finding something fun to do.

Well my favoite thing to do on my 2 days off are to spend time with my 15 month old baby girl...I don't see her much during the day and I miss her terribly. So we play on my bed, we watch one of her movies, I'll fix us a snack of somekind, I'll read to her...she loves to be read to!...But to me that is my most favorite thing to do. I adore my kid and she is the best thing I have goin for me.

I'd rather go to the garden park, bring our own snacks and enjoy the scenery. That will settle for a good day off.
