Sweet scent of security:
Have you ever thought about what it would be like if you had to have one odor for everything? You open your dryer with all the dry clothes inside and instead of smelling your fabric softener you smell the “new car” smell. Let’s say your mother is baking sugar cookies and instead of smelling the sweet, sensuous, and luscious smell of cookies, you smell your brothers dirty gym socks. Not a very good thought, is it?
At first when my mom told me that we were going to California for the Christmas break, I was more than furious. Did she actually think that I would be dragged along? Of course, she’s my mother! I had plans over Christmas break. I was not intending to be stuck with my family droning on about the “old days”. My holiday plans were to go to my friends party which was supposed to be the biggest party of the year. Instead I got stuck listening to Elvis Presley for five hours.
The zombie family, as I like to call them, arrived at our beach house in Calif

For Spanish class I need to research Argentina's holiday of revolution day. I already know all about the holiday's origin and when it is (May 25), but I can't find ANYTHING about the customs and traditions that come along with it. PLEASE HELP!! I will award a "Best Answer" if there is a truly helpful response. If you don't feel like writing it all out, please give websties that will actually help and where to find the info on them.

Also, if you are actually from Argentina, you would probably be a major help.

Muchas gracias

It was printed in either Woman's Day or Family Circle it was about Mrs. Claus and I have this much of it....

Everyone knows how Santa Claus looks you've seen his picture in your picture books. You've heard the story of the North Pole near. Of his sled and sleigh and eight reindeer.

But did you ever before in you life know that Santa Claus has a wife? Well he does.........

The rest I don't remember. Could someone please help title, author... anything would be helpful. Thanks!

to host Christmas eve dinner. I am 24 and moved out of my parents house in March and haven't spoken to my father since (long story short we don't see eye to eye). My mom thought it would help if Xmas eve was at my new apartment to break the ice so it won't be as wierd when I show up there xmas day. Any advice on how to host? It will likely be me, mom, dad, brother and his girlfriend. I think meeting the new man in my life would be overkill. Help me with decorations, food, topics to talk about etc. Anything can help! Thank you so much!!!
