Please at least wait until Thanksgiving is over! Everyone skips past that oliday, and I think it is an important holiday! (plus all the yummy food).

My family like to come over for Thanksgiving and my tree be up, so normally I put my decorations up a few days before Thanksgiving, it also gets everyone geared up for Christmas and gives me more time to Christmas shop since all the decorations are already put up.

Exciting huh!

The rule of thumb is usually the week after Thanksgiving. But I think everyone has their own traditions. I'll decorate but won't actually buy my tree until around December 10th because I don't want it dead before christmas. Yes, I like the real thing, they just smell so much better.

If I decorate at all, it's usually the first weekend of December. Lately though my husband and I have only put out our stockings because we're never home anyway. We are the ones that get stuck running from house to house.
