What's strange is that here I am buying skulls, cob webs and blood for Halloween and I look the next aisle over and I see smiling Santas and Snowmen ... that's just wrong! Can't retailers keep Christmas stuff out of the stores until after Halloween. Here's an idea, why don't they create a holiday section in their stores that functions all year round! Come on now!!!!

Jesus does not care what Walmart does, just that fact that the reason for the season is celebrated. Christmas is right around the corner, so there is nothing wrong with getting started early.

It is always so nice to hear someone call Christmas stuff "crap". Really shows your holiday spirit.

Putting this "crap" out so early give people who buy early, a chance to get the stuff they want before it is sold out or so that they don't have to wait till the last minute.

Is it really that big of a deal?? Just stay away from that section if you are that irritated.

Because we live in a materialistic, consumerist society, where people equate happiness with the amount of crap they accumulate.

I agree that Jesus would not like the comercialization of christmas or the politicization of his teachings.

Every year christmas crap comes out earlier and earlier! What's next, valentines day?
