Am sure the kid is expecting something for Easter -- but what do you give children who have lost the magic of the Easter Bunny?

OK. I have colored eggs for years with my mom. I haven't done it for a few years but now have kids old enough that they can participate. My family used to leave the eggs out for a few days and could still eat them with no problems. My husbands family says that you can eat them, but only right after coloring them or they need to stay in the refrigerator. We never got sick when I was younger. Were we just lucky?

Would the relatives be scandalized by BBQ?

I'd rather just grill some steaks to be honest.

What say you?

I am looking for a specific inflatable bunny, we had them as kids (we lost ours last year) and would like to buy one for this Easter if possible. It's about 2 feet tall (including ears), pink with white ears/mouth are/inside of hands and feet, and has a carrot attached to it's hand. There is a picture of it in my profile. Has anyone seen anything similar in stores lately?

It upsets me that they would honor Groundhog Day, but not Easter which is such a nationally celebrated holiday. They don't even mark it on the calendar section of Yahoo. Why celebrate all the other religious holidays, but omit Easter?

I am attending an "easter egg hunt" (along with my kids) on Sunday and this is our first time..

Please let me know what we should take... I am shy to ask my host. Should my kids take baskets etc...
Should they wear bunny clothes?
Also she asked us for "stuff" to decorate our eggs.. i think i understood that..

We are taking food though, since that is pot luck
