I liked UK since childhood and now when I am here, I even liked more.I was given a chance to study subjects not taught in most uni. around the globe. Although, I was victim of racism couple of times due to my beard, but such ppl are in minority here.
I wanna know, what good can I do to this country as reciprocation. I am an international student here.

Let's say you are Chineese and work at the gas station.
Customer #1 comes in- a "white American". He complains about the gas prices and how that you should do something about it.
You think to yourself "those American people are always complaining about something
Customer #2 comes in- a Chineese. He complains about the gas prices and how that you should do something about it.
You think to yourself "that customer was kind of rude"


As you can see in the first customer example the clerk related the rudeness to the race and in the second example, they just said the customer was rude.

Now, be honest with yourself....do you find yourself doing this?
For example, if I don't like the way a certain group dresses-but not all of them dress that way...I generalize and say I do not like the way they dress. However, there are also people of my race that I do not like the way they dress, but do not attach that way of dressing to a race. These are just examples.

I mean if your not winging about one thing then its something else. Why dont you ever appreciate your lives and realise that you are some of the luckiest people in the world, You just have to look at yahoo answers to find have the questions are complaints.
When you realise what it really means to suffer then you'll find some much needed humility!

My 2 friends and I are "white" and our husbands/boyfriends are Mexican. We have decided to hang out, because it is hard to hang out with people that don't understand cultural differences or that don't speak both English and Spanish. We want to cook a light Mexican dinner (b/c it will be late night snacking)-and we do know how to cook authentic Mexican food....we just need ideas. Also, we would like to play some games....that could be done in Spanish and need ideas. If you could also give a suggestion on a movie in Spanish. Thanks!

I noticed bad kitty1 is one of those fake ghetto weaved up black girls, thats why she's hatin. Black people act like, I can't have a mature and honest conversation. I think many blacks are just jeolous because they are not smart enough or bold enough to have mature and inteligent conversations with different races of people around the world. So if your a kid or have a slave mentality ,show some respect and do not answer the post if you can not handle the truth. Lieing on people and cussing is uncalled for. I a bold,honset very wise,deep,spiritual person and I am not changing for anyone. he he he, I reported many people myself, for being real trolls and not for stupid stuff, like being honest.

i stopped drinking for two months and i kind of fell off the wagon. this past weekend i got drunk friday and saturday night to the point where i cant remember the last part of the night. when i drink i cant stop drinking, and that where i black out. i almost liked being sober but its so boring and the social life goes to all hell. i dont want to go to aa because ive been before and it doesnt help me at all, it makes me want to drink more. i can handle not drinking, i just start doing it again out of nothing else better to do. any advice?

I find it bizarre, yes there are a few wierdo's on here saying what could be classed as racist statements, but half the time I think they are said for effect.
So who are the real racists? The people who accuse others of being racist for no reason??
Somebody on here earlier called someone else a racist because they prefered blonde women. I think this is potty. Any thaughts?
