A nun was walking in the convent when one of the priests noticed she was gaining a little weight. "Gaining a little weight are we sister Susan?" he asked.

"No, Father. Just a little gas," Sister Susan explained.

A month or so later the priest noticed that she had gained even more weight. "Gaining some weight are we Sister Susan?" he asked again.

"Oh no, Father. Just a little gas," she replied again.

A couple of months later the priest noticed Sister Susan pushing a baby carriage around the convent. He leaned over and looked in the carriage and said, "Cute little fart."

I mean no offense. As a somewhat southern and protestant individual I don't understand and am curious. I am looking for an answer from someone who fits that bill, please no insults or disrespect.

It seems to me that basic Christian scripture openly and clearly condemns homosexuality as a sin and as an abomination to God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
Romans 1:24-32

So how can you be both? In light of the scriptures, how can it be okay to be both homosexual and Christian? Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

Do you remember when TV stations use to sign off at midnight or there abouts? They usually ended it with the Star Spangled Banner or some other great national athem song. I miss those nights. Of course all you had after that was a blank screen with white noise and snow. And all the stations had closed for the night.

I'm a Filipina with mixed blood, my dad's Mexican-Spanish, my mom's Filipino with Chinese blood. I'm very interested about Native American culture and I find First Nation men so beautiful. But I don't know if they are interested in other cultures, or do they only date among themselves?

Five Englishmen boarded a train just behind five Scots, who, as a group had only purchased one ticket. Just before the conductor came through, all the Scots piled into the toilet stall at the back of the car. As the conductor passed the stall, he knocked and called"Tickets, please!" and one of the Scots slid a ticket under the door. It was punched, pushed back under the door, and when it was safe all the Scots came out and took their seats. The Englishmen were tremendously impressed by the Scots' ingenuity. On the trip back, the five Englishmen decided to try this themselves and purchased only one ticket. They noticed that, oddly, the Scots had not purchased any tickets this time. Anyway, again, just before the conductor came through, the Scots piled into one of the toilet stalls, the Englishmen into the other. Then one of the Scots leaned out, knocked on the Englishmen's stall and called "Ticket, Please!" When the ticket slid out under the door, he picked it up and quickly closed the door

My son just told me I need a place at the table for "Goofball” (No he wasn't referring to me). So if it was mandatory for everyone to have an imaginary friend, what would you name yours? Male of female? Human or non human? Carnivore or herbivore? And so on.

How do YOU know when you've read a good book?

I have a feeling that this Christmas is gonna be a bummer for my wife because all her family, such as they are, have moved to east Texas. Now she feels all alone. If I were loaded with tons of money, I’d take her on trip to Europe or something crazy like that to get this whole thing off her mind - but I’m not. What can I do to make this a good/great holiday for her? Neither of us will ever see fifty again, so no silly answers please...
