Does anybody have a rough time frame for the Iron Age? Nothing too exact, just an estimate.

I mean do you really think our evolution led us to monogamy, or did we turn to its practice because of cultural/religious beliefs of society. It seems that most people are incapable of remaining faithful to one mate, and most people do not stay with only one mate their whole life. Unless they follow religious beliefs or society that says they are supposed to have only one mate forever. Is it really in our nature to do this? or are we more suited to a variety of mates throughout life, or even multiple mates. Is there any evidence of the mating habits of our primate ancestors or what human mating was like before modern culture, religion and society??

I am very interested in becoming an archaeologist. As of now I am a junior and have recently begun looking into colleges. I would like to know which colleges offer good archaeology or anthropology departments. Thanks for your help.

Can you compare and contrast the Yanomano way of life to that of your own in the following areas:

myths and cosmos (religion and world view).

Social organization (city life, lineages).

Demography (stats such as average life expectancy, age at marriage, male to female ratios, primary cause of death)

Political Alliances (how do these work between shibonos/tribes)

The comedian George Burns said that “there will always be a battle of the sexes because men and women want different things: Men want women and women want men.” Discuss this comment in the light of what you know about evolutionary social theory.

This is not a racist question but a multicultural one. I have met many people from various backgrounds. indo-europeans, italian americans, afro americans, chino europeans etc. however i have never met a black japanese person. I am lead to believe that the japanese are not very multi cultural and therefore it is hard to be accepted into their families. therefore as there are no endogenous black people to the islands of japan, does this cultural group exist?

"hump"?

Many a times I have had females with fine posteriors back up into me on accident, sometimes even bend down, in front of me a few inches short of my pelvis.

I always move away to give them space, but I feel if I was not conscious or drunk(loss of judgement), I would "hit it", so to speak. ;p

Is it a natural instinct?

The effect of nurture is wellknown. But along with nurture the gene has an important role to play. But the fashion today is to oppose eugenics blindly. Eugenics can alleviate suffering. It does not create homzygosity. It is not against nature. Actually what is against nature is the present mode of reproduction.
