1) How do you define “race”?

3) What are several examples?

Thank You!

What was the society like before the implementation of ethics and religion. Did they have any compassion? Were they moral, by today's standards? If you can recommend a book or a website on this matter, I'd be thankful.

Is this the Dumbest invention in the history of Mankind?

Genus Digital Radio Alarm Clock

I thought I would buy a digital radio alarm clock. Why not treat myself as I have quit smoking? So I did. However. When plugged in the radio emitts a rather loud buzzing sound that annoys the person who is trying to sleep.
But that is not all it also gives off a very bright glow so that it also stops the person from going to sleep. Am I going insane or did these designers not even check the product before production started?
So I have an expensive alarm clock. I paid approx £70.00 ($137.90) for and it keeps me awake so that I unplug it and don't use it!
I am not insane just annoyed that this product simply does not work as I intended it to. So I have bought another alarm clock for £5.00 (Silent). Could I get my money back for this dumb invention? Is it the dumbest invention known to mankind?

I recently saw the movie idiocracy and it addressed a intresting cultural problem. Yeah I know, it was a crappy movie, but are we evolving into a species of idiots ? Intelectuals and proffesionals are having fewer and fewer children and the undereducated and underprivliged are passing their genes on at a normal rate. In a couple of hundred years will the average person be like a guest on the Jerry Springer show ?

reason i ask is because i believe that everyone is trully the same, we are all one species, human. the only reason some poeple hate is out of bordem, small deferences, or because your better or they have it better.
i understand race, but what is it?

All the latest research shows that whites in Europe are a mix of real humans (H. sapiens sapiens) and Neanderthals (H. sapiens neanderthalensis). See for example:

http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/node/814

"In a paper published this week in the U.S. journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a team of European researchers report a "mosaic of modern human and archaic Neanderthal features" in 30,000 -year-old human fossils from Romania.
...
"This new study helps to settle the controversy. According to the researchers, the populations probably blended together through sexual reproduction. "Extinction through absorption is a common phenomenon," says Trinkaus."

Neanderthals lived in Europe and the Middle East, and unlike true humans their hair had more pheomelanin and less eumelanin, meaning they had red or blond hair (while H. sapiens sapiens had black hair). Similarly, Neanderthals also had the pigment that made their eyes blue.

Why not be open and admit it?
