I'm now in the realm of the imagination here, as artefacts can reveal a lot about life 25,000 years ago, but what about things that leave little or no trace? I'm picking religion as a starting point. (More questions about life of that period from me later on) Jean M. Auel has a very good idea of what religion would be like then, in her wonderful series of books.
I'm interested in what you think. Thanks.

I'm talking about the evolution from simple molecules to man - when we learned about evolution in biology this was always taught as the theory of evolution, but now, 10 years later people are arguing saying it is a fact and others saying its a theory...

I looked up the scientific definition of "fact" on Wikipedia and here's what it said:
"In science a fact is an objective and verifiable observation, in contrast with a theory, which is an explanation of or interpretation of facts."

Now I know that no scientist (or anyone) has observed the evolution of man from molecules (no one can survive that long), however we do have fossils of many animals that once existed that look similar to one another.
So the facts are the existence of these fossils that look similar, and the theory to explain these facts is that they evolved from one another.

Thats my opinion, for those who believe that molecules to man evolution is a fact, could you point out the error in my logic? Thanks

Is there any scientific reason why apes couldn't be the offspring of some long ago human-animal "encounter"?

An anthroplogical question; Is it customary for Dutch men to have coitus or oral sex with they're brothers or sisters Daughters? I know that some patralineal tribes in Africa do especially those in eastern africa and I just wondered if this was an accepted norm in the Netherlands or are they just very family oriented? I ask for two reasons one because Im an anthropology major and 2nd because I have a pen pal there who sees his neice often?????If any one knows let me know? unless he is just a caring guy?

why were slavic/baltic people, non christian, africans, native americans etc etc etc called uncivilised? or barbaric people?

Even people in rural france are still called uncivilised by the parisians? and across the world.

Why is rural/pastoral life considered uncivil?

Culturally, historically, politically, etc...
Apart from the obvious fact that they're both European.
I heard someone say that the two countries are closely related.

I have a pair of blue jays nesting in my back yard. When the robins tried to build a nest in a nearby tree, the blue jays kept destroying the robin's nest. Sad but natural? Or do we hold out hope for a higher consciousness?

Ok, if humans came from monkeys, why didn't all the monkeys evolve? Do you believe in Evolution? If so, why did you choose to believe in evolution? Why do evolutionists believe that the earth is millions of years old? Is there anyone out there who is both a Christian and an evolutionist? If so, why do you believe what you believe? Don't feel obligated to answer all the questions, just the ones that you want to. If you do answer a question, please explain why you feel that way.

I know how odd this sounds, and animal rights activists - don't be offended, this isn't for a sinister nature. I need one for a project I'm working on, it needs to be intact and fresh. How would I go about acquiring one? Myth Busters manage to get pigs, some guy in the UK managed to get a Corgi to eat it as a protest to the royal family for hunting foxes(satire approach), surely there must be a way. And I would like to acquire it from the most humane source possible. Can anyone think of any suggestions?

I don't believe in evolution, but I don't hold anything against you if you do. I would love to study biological antropology one day, but alot of topics in this feild seem to be about evolution. Would biological anthropology not be a good thing to get into because I don't believe in evolution?
