Is today Hungarian the same as the barbarian from the northern China in the old days?

No Huns lived in that area in about late 3rd century and was given nowadays Hungary from Rome and the Huns possibly migrated from Asia when the Chinese kicked them out.

No. That would be the mongols. Some of the Hungarians may have been the barbarians for the Roman Empire.

If you talk about the Uighurs in north western China, yes they are about the same, and even arrived in China before Chinese... This one they did not like it...;)
