Yeah - well, is there any difference between the brackets and the line when you're doing matrices? For example,

Is there any difference between:

[1 2 3]
[4 5 6]

and

|1 2 3|
|4 5 6|

That's all I need.

Thanks in advance!

Here it goes: 16x^2-16x+4=0. My first step I did was factor the 4 out of that which is as follows: 4(x^2-4x+1). Is this some sort of linear equation? Cause if it is, how do I solve it? And if it is a linear equation, how do I solve it with an exponent of 2 in it?

Thank you everyone and please explain. I always need a good explaination

1. f(x) = In (x + 4)

2. f(x) = 2 + In x

3. f(x) = log(x - 4)

Can you help me find the points of these problems so I can write the graph! I just don't know how you find the points in these problems to write graph from!
