1. The following table shows the fnc: G=f(t)
t 1987, 1990, 1993, 1996 ,1999
f(t) 53, 70, 73, 74, 81
(the numbers correspond to their respective years.)

Estimate f ' (1999).
Then,
Use the estimated value of f ' (1999) to estimate f (2005).


Please tell me how to set-up and solve this problem.

im have to solve these (w/ answers between 0 and 2pi) using identities, and i know them but after applying them i keep ending up stuck with an equation i cant solve...

these are the questions:
a) 2 csc^2x = 3 cot^2x - 1
b) sin ^2x + sin x - 1 = 0
c) 3 cosxcotx + 7 = 5 cscx
d) 2 cos^2x - cos x = 2 - secx

can anyone help with any of them?

For what values of a and b is (a × b) < 0?

(A) a = 3, b = .0001
(B) a = –2, b = –.0001
(C) a = 7, b = 0
(D) a = –1, b = –19
(E) a = –2, b = 3

The answer is E...
But isn't A and B also right?
Because
(A) .0003 is less than 0
(B).0002 is also less than 0
?
