For what values of a and b is (a × b) < 0?

(A) a = 3, b = .0001
(B) a = –2, b = –.0001
(C) a = 7, b = 0
(D) a = –1, b = –19
(E) a = –2, b = 3

The answer is E...
But isn't A and B also right?
Because
(A) .0003 is less than 0
(B).0002 is also less than 0
?

just to clarify .0003 and .0002 are not less than 0 their less than 1 but more than 0

A and B are both more than 0. The numbers .0003 and .0002 are both more than 0 because if 0 were to be written out as a decimal, it would be written out as 0.00000 and so on. Therefore .0003 is more than 0.00000. Same goes for .0002. Get it?

No, A & B are less than 1.
C is equal O, D is positive.
