Given f(x)= square_root_of (x) , evaluate

lim ( f(x+h)-f(x) ) / h
h-->0

This is as far as i get:

( square_root(x+h) - square_root(x) ) / h

I need to get rid of the "h" ... what do i do next???

h-->0

#2
lim ********** absolute_value( x + pi ) / ( x + pi )
x--> -pi

#3
lim ( (1/(5-x)) - (1/5) ) / x
x-->0

If you have a 21-day ascending linear regression trendline (slope .211) with an R2 of .642 with values currently two standard deviations below it, and you have a descending 7-day linear regression trendline (slope -.245) with an R2 value of .852, with values on and around it, how are these two trendlines likely to reconcile themselves? I'm interested in learning how to make these judgments. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to solve this partial fraction integral, int:10/((x-1)(x^2 +9)) dx
I wrote that A/(x-1) + (Bx+C)/(x^2+9)= 10/((x-1)(x^2 +9))
I multiplied across the equation by (x-1)(x^2+9) and got
A(x^2 +9) + (Bx+C)(x-1) = 10 Then I multiplied the left side of the equation out and got..
Ax^2 +9A + Bx^2 -Bx + Cx -C = 10 Then I set up a system of linear equations like this
A +B = 0
-B +C = 0
9A -C = 10
Now I'm stuck.. I may have made a mistake somewhere, but in any case I'm not sure how to solve this system of linear equations. What should I do?
