All those massive glaciers n' ice are turning into now partial ice. If this rate continues, there will be no more arctic animals n' life. So my question is that why do individuals care more about their self-proclaimed fame n' possessions instead of the bigger picture?

Are we doomed? I hear the world will end in six years. If you look at Merlin and a few others we want last another few years. Yes there was a Merlin but a lot more that said the end was near. Global warming has just stepped up and said that 2012 the glaciers would melt.....that would mean NY would be under water.
La for sure.....Tokyo for sure. The bad thing is they say it doesn't mater what we do now...it is a done thing. We have used our trump card and the sky is falling.

are clay deposits ever found on the ocean floor, away from the mouths of rivers that might deposit such particles of matter?

Anybody care to estimate whether such clay might be suitable for crude ceramics/pottery...?

Does this have anything to do with turbidity currents?

Not clear? Let me know, I'll add more details.

Thanks!
