It is Colorado Plateau. Coastal plains have low elevations so can't be considered raised. Grand Tetons are a mountain range, so not flat. Appalachians are another range, so again, not flat.

Everyone has given the right answer, pretty much but let's talk about why.
We're looking for raised and flat.
A. Well the Tetons are raised but they are hardly flat
B. Coastal plain is flat but its at sea level so its hardly raised.
C. A plateau is defined as a raised, flat expanse of land. Therefore, your answer.
D. Not raised, but not flat.

Yes - I would also note that in India there is a place called COCHIN and the local vernakular is KOCHI and recently they issued a memorandum to use KOCHI only. There is another place called CALICUT in India, which was recently converted into KOZHIKKODE, They had some other names. The history is that when British rule, they were not able to pronounce the local voice properly and used their own accent, so that there an English name has come. This phenomenon is applicable to all over the world .Why I reply like this is that when one mean as 'holy scripture", or Holy Quran or Holy Bible or Holy Grantha Sahib or anybook with Holy as suffix, many others would need definition and explanation as it has become a practice in the present life. Recently a movie came with the name 'Holy Bible' and the people who flocked in the hall got out as quick as possible as it was a story about the Bible (Like Davinci Code - the fiction) So people lost the belief on the names. Earlier also there was a dispute whether Allah or Christ - who is/was superior - as the donkeys do not know the genuine meaning behind the name of the book or person. (like you, Ratia!) Why do you use Holy Quran or Holy Bible, which directly mean that there is Unholy Quran and Unholy Bible

C. Colorado Plateau
Plateaus are flat areas, and this one happens to be raised. Plains (B) are too low and mountains (D) are too high.
