This is something I'm having trouble with in a course I'm doing in Seismic Processing. I guess it is really a question regarding Digital Signals Processing in general, which is used in several areas including music, and engineering, etc.

Other then mining some important mineral, what else do geologists do? I am really interested in geomorphology (how landforms are made) which is a branch of geology, but don't humans already know all about landforms?

I don't have my science book with me and I'm not so good at internet research. The other option of what feldspar could be would be a rock instead of a mineral...so please help me.

I have to go to a make up player evaluation today, and my dad says the time changed. If I miss this, I'm out for the whole season. So what is the current time for the West Coast or PDT?

We climbed to the peak of Manzano Mountains in New Mexico - approx 10,000 to 11,000 feet, and found shell and coral fossils. How did they get there? How were the mountains formed? Upheaval? Volcanic? Was there sea life millions of years ago when earth was covered with water, and was the sea level above 11,000 feet? Gosh, I am a dope when it comes to geology. Don't laugh, please.

in a particular chemical reaction, delta H=+100kj. when equilibrium has been established, it is found that a significant amount of product has formed, even though there is still some reactants left.

what has happened to entropy as this reaction was taking place?..can u explain how you arrived at that answer, cause im not sure how figure out, though rxn is endo why so much product formed.
