What is ionisation energy?
I know it is, the energy needed to remove electrons.
Which element Nitrogen or Oxygen has higher first ionisation energy? Why?
It's Nitrogen right? But why?

I have several questions which are annoying to find answers to, so i need MAJOR help
1)when Fe2+ is added to NaSCN, what is the complex ion formed given that the colour of the resulting solution is orange?

Markovnikov's rule states that:

a) addition to an alkene will give the least substituted product.

b) addition to an alkene will give the most highly substituted product.
