broccoli, turnip greens, kale, dairy products, cheese, sardines in oil, canned salmon, eggs, corn bread, calcium-fortified (bread, cereals, fruit juices, etc.)

The recommended daily intake of calcium for adults is 1000mg per day. The average American adult is only getting 600 mg from their food. It is very hard to get enough calcium from our foods. Some people need a supplement.

Rhubarb. The leaves have so much oxalic acid that they can be poisinous.
