What is the C with the number 6 in the corner , in the green square in the upper right area?

Thanks everyone. Am I guessing correctly by thinking the H is hydrogen and the O is oxygen?

The C is the symbol for carbon, an element. The 6 stands for the number of protons in it which is its atomic number.
There is also a 12, which means its mass number is 12, so it has 6 protons (as shown by the atomic number) plus 6 neutrons in it

For the most part. I cant believe that some of the contestants dont know the very basic things. I like Jeff Foxworthy and I enjoy seeing the kids and their abundance of enthusiasm. I've been a contestant on some shows and know it's not the same as sitting at home, but still-I hope I'd be smarter than a 5th grader.
