Corrosive poison is that which physically damages flesh; the most common being strong acids (like hydrochloric, nitric or sulfuric acid) and strong bases (like sodium hydroxide in drain cleaner and potassium hydroxide in some dishwashing machine powders). Non corrosive poisons do not damage flesh, but have some other effect like harming the circulation system or central nervous system (many snake and spider venoms are of this sort, as well as poisons like arsenic, cyanide and strychnine).

Different poisons can have different symptoms. Corrosion is when the chemical eats away at matter. Your best bet is to identify the poison ingested and call poison control. Follow their instructions carefully.
