(yeah, i know it's a stupid idea, and that it's never going to happen, but i seriously have no ideas). I mean, is there any way to make coal liqued at room temperaturs, so you can put it in pumps and cars etc, and so on?

According to dictionaries, osmotic pressure is the pressure exerted by a dissolved substance in virtue to its molecular motion. But does the 'dissolved substance' mean the solute or the solvent? Does the pressure refer to the pressure exerted by the solute or the solvent molecules?

Firstly, if I were to set an ordinary cellphone on fire, would it pose a serious hazard? That is to say, does a cellphone (non-color screen, no camera or mp3 capabilities) contain any parts which may explode or present any other serious hazard to the participants of this stunt upon exposure to flame?

Secondly, is vinegar flammable? If not, can anyone recommend any common household liquids which may have the desired effect?

Thanks

Hello there, I have been doing a thing called enthalpy - I am good at it but there is a problem: I don't know how to do this one question!

"A polystyrene cup containes 50cm3 of water at 21.2*C.

2.53 g of of powdered ammonium chloride (NH4CL) was added and dissolved with stirring.

Calculate the lowest temperature which the solution should reach given that the enthalpy of solution of NH4CL is +15 KJ mol-1."

I know the answer is 17.8*C. BUT I don't know how to do the sum.

Can you help please help?

Just show me the how you worked it out.

For testing purposes I am supposed to know what ATP, ADP, and AMP are.

I know that ATP is the source of energy for all body activities and that ATP is a nucleotide containing 3 phosphate groups, a nitrogen base, and a sugar.

But...what is AMP and ADP? How do they relate? Basic, fundamental explanations is all I need as I am in Anatomy and Physiology 1. Thanks.
