so we're using a GCMS with an electron capture detector. Some solutions we are running are lighter fluid, isopropyl alcohol and paint thinner. We aren't getting good results. Could this be due to the type of detector the machine uses? Can you explain this? Thanks

1. What soltuions are electrolytes?
2. Most acidic + basic?
3. First flask contains 74g of KCl. Calculate Molarity.
4. Second flask contains 30mL of CH3OH. Calculate percent volume/volume.
5. Calculate the grams of Ba(OH)2 in the third flask.
6. Which solution is most likely to react with an acid to form a salt and water?
7. Ba(OH2), CH3COOH, KCl- color of litmus paper? taste? color with Phenolphtalein?

if u begin with 4.5 mg of Tc metal, how much NaTcO4 can be madE? what mass of NaOH ( in grams ) is required to convertt all of the HTcO4 into NaTCO4???

i understand that a humidity level increase results in a decrease in air pressure, but does this hold true on the sealed interior of a home? doesn't the nitrogen remain "contained" in a home and not move to the outer fronts of the storm, resulting in an increase in air pressure?
